Pastor David Young and his daughter Catie have traveled to Haiti five different times to
work along side native pastors Louis and Doni St. Germain and their ministry, El Shaddai
International. El Shaddai seeks to transform the country of Haiti through the power of
Christ and the gospel in all areas of life, physical, economic and spiritual. Check out their

In a combined effort with three other area PCA churches Pastor Young lead a team of 17 this past summer to work in El Shaddai's children's homes and schools which combine to effect over 6000 children. The team fundraised and worked on a project to take 1000 dresses, shoes and other clothing for items to the children's homes. They were able to provide funding for a community garden project, a new cistern for one of the children's homes and a water system. The team taught hygiene clinics, lead children's programs, distributed soccor balls, played, loved and shared the gospel in action. God worked powerfully not only among the people and children they met but through the team members as well. You can find pictures of their recent trip to Haiti on our facebook page. The summer mission trip to Haiti is an annual trip usually around the end of June. If you are interested in learning more about helping with funding, the mission in Haiti or participating in a summer trip, call the church office for more information.
